BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES Recipe
BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES
1 1/2 cups flour
24 packets Sweet 'n Low sugar substitute
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt (or you can use unsweetened applesauce)
1 cup ripe bananas, mashed
1 3/4 cup uncooked Quaker Quick rolled oats
Combine flour, sweetener, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in yogurt or applesauce with a
fork until the mixture looks like fine crumbs. Beat the egg. Stir the egg and the rest of the ingredients
into the flour mixture. Beat well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400
degrees for about 12 minutes or until brown.
1 cookie = 1 point
I don't know how many cookies this recipe is supposed to make, but for portion control, I would use
a teaspoon measure to scoop out the dough for each cookie.
